The Art Academy of Cincinnati is pleased to present the third of seven senior thesis exhibitions for the 2012 senior thesis series. "Sub-Surfaced" will feature the work of Scott Bunge, Tyler Hilton, Julio Labra, Justin Mangan, Vladimir Plitsyn, and Chris Schimmel. "Sub-Surfaced" is an exhibition of prints, paintings and drawings by six artists with a focus on the idea of surfaces, both physical and metaphorical. Each will receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in May 2012.

Bunge is majoring in Printmaking with a minor in Drawing; Hilton is majoring in Printmaking with a minor in Drawing; Labra is majoring in Illustration; Mangan is majoring in Drawing with a minor in Sculpture; Plitsyn is majoring in Visual Communication Design and Schimmel is majoring in Painting.
