Sourcing And Production of Images in the Digital Age

Instructor: Jimmy Baker

Course Description:  This course will marry digital processes with established printmaking techniques to produce new combinations of printmaking, all of which can be applied in the classroom and studio. Instruction will include discussing the efficacy and practice of sourcing and manipulating imagery and viewing contemporary artists relevant to the study. Students will focus on learning a variety of advanced techniques in digital image processing and output and will apply these processes to a variety of handmade printmaking techniques including screen printing, monoprinting, and collagraphs. Bachelor's degree with studio experience is required.

Tuition for one graduate credit is $500
