Come see an Art Show that is for Artists, organized by Artists in support of Future Artists! The 6th Annual Autumn Air Art Fair is a fabulous fundraising event that raises much needed scholarship funds for Art Academy of Cincinnati BFA students and Community Education students.
The Autumn Air Art Fair (AAAF) is recognized for its high-quality and mix of unique handcrafted art from artists all over the Greater Cincinnati area. The event is free and open to the public, although additional donations benefiting Art Academy of Cincinnati (AAC) student scholarships will be accepted and are welcome!
For the past two years the AAC has received a total of $3,000 from the event ($1200 last year for BFA and $900 each year for CE). The recent 2014-15 school year distribution of the funds were made to the AAC BFA through its general fund and CE’s were made to High School juniors, seniors and recent graduates who participate in the AAC Community Education Department’s Summer Portfolio Preparation program. The AAAF funds provided a $200 scholarship awarded to 4 students to help pay the $625 commuter or $1100 residential tuition. The four art student, up-and-comers each received $200 off tuition. Congratulations to Emily Malott, Taylor Mathis, Sierra Hill, Ellen X O’Neil.
