Create Chemigrams

Discover the the ins and outs of creating chemigrams in this interactive workshop. Chemigrams are an experimental photographic process where paintings are made on light-sensitive paper using photo chemicals.
The results are unpredictable images full of movement. The workshop will explore what adding some common household items such as oil and soaps can do to alter the image. No two images are ever alike, and the real fun comes with experimentation.
Materials will be provided. Please arrive promptly at 11:30 to ensure complete instruction.

About the Artist
Nikita Gross uses photography to express the liminal space between the rooted and the transcendent. With 20 years of experience and education working with traditional and experimental lens-based media, she continually pushes conventional photographic boundaries and techniques.
Deeply inspired by mysticism and the sacred feminine, through her practice she seeks communion with the divine. Nikita has exhibited both nationally and abroad. She has had a successful commercial photographic career for nearly a decade.
