Now Accepting Applications for Visual Arts Outreach

August 26, 2014

Research shows that involvement in the Arts fortifies academics, raises test scores, and cultivates greater aspiration in employment and civic responsibility (Catterall, 2009: College Board, 2011).

Let us come to you! The Visual Art Outreach Program,
funded by Procter & Gamble is now seeking applications for the 2014-15 school year.

The program sends artists and art educators from the Art Academy of Cincinnati’s Community Education Department to Cincinnati Public School classrooms, where they present hands-on art lessons that integrate classroom curriculum to empower children to learn more effectively while encouraging a life of creativity!

Any Cincinnati Public classroom is eligible to participate in the program at no cost to them. For more information about how your student’s classroom can participate in the Visual Art Outreach Program, please call Community Education at 513.562.8748 or email us at commed@artacademy.edu. You can also apply online.

It’s easy, fun and free!
