Sarah Hollis Shows at the Contemporary Arts Center

September 9, 2014

If you haven’t heard the Contemporary Arts Center is having a big year! It’s their 75th anniversary and they are ringing in their exhibition season with the show Memory Palace. We are excited to have one of our Professors, Sarah Hollis included in the exhibition.

Memory Palace highlights “the way our recollections shift actual histories into imperfect, but quintessentially human legacies,” making the show a perfect fit for Hollis’ piece A Novel About All of the Things I Have Forgotten. In this piece she draws upon memory to create her own poetic memoir. To view Hollis’ piece along with artists Dennis Oppenheim, William Kentridge and Louise Bourgeois—to name a few come, head over to the opening this Friday, September 12th.

6:00 PM: Cocktail Reception – CAC Insiders and above
7:00 PM: FotoFocus Artist Talk with Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs – CAC Members
8:00 PM: Show opens to the public.
