This course will study and employ the unique art form of paint-on-glass animation. Although this method is rare, it has been used to create many short animations and movies. Students will combine digital and analog practices, as they will utilize digital cameras, computers, and video-editing programs to capture the moving pictures and compose the final animation. This course would be great for individuals interested in painting, animation, cartooning, storytelling, filmmaking, or those interested in learning something new under the guidance of an instructor!
This course is for adults and teens. Students ages 13-17 must be registered to take the course with a parent or guardian and must be accompanied by the parent or guardian at each session. The student and guardian must also sign a Blanket Authorization Form. You can fill out the form by clicking here. This will also be sent in an email a week before the course begins and must be completed before the first session.
