Mental Health Counseling & academic Assistance

Ask For Help,
You Deserve it.

The Art academy of Cincinnati employees on-site licensed professional mental health counselors, and academic tutoring assistance.

Mental Health Counseling

AAC’s on-staff licensed professional mental health counselors, Casey Riordan, BFA, MA, LPC, and Toni Cargile-Hadley, MA, LPCC-S, provide all enrolled students with free, confidential, one-on-one therapy and help with finding outside mental health services, such as psychiatry, medication management, trauma treatment, substance use, and disordered eating. Counseling services are available year-round and take place in-person, on campus, or virtually, via Telemental Health. No private health insurance or Medicaid is required to receive counseling.

To set up a counseling appointment, email one of our counselors:

AAC’s Collaborative Learning Studio (S270) offers academic support for liberal arts and studio courses. Peer and faculty tutors are available six days per week to help with papers, projects, assignments, time management, and study skills. We also provide hands-on help with Adobe Creative Cloud. The space is also home to a quiet work area, printer, and computers with Grammarly and text-to-speech software.

In addition, we host study groups, writing workshops, and other events designed to help students succeed. Drop in during open hours, or contact Megan Martin via Teams chat or email mmartin@artacademy.edu to schedule an appointment.

If you need accommodations for a learning disability, email Megan Martin or complete the Request for Accommodations Form below:
